What is Artisanal Tequila?

It is Tequila produced using the traditional small-batch method. The traditional small-batch tequila process creates rich flavors that reflect the agave’s terroir and craftsmanship. From field to glass, you can taste the pride in every sip; that is why you only want to drink Artisanal Tequila.

Why do we consider Artisanal Tequila a better product?

  • The Process

The traditional small batch process uses brick or autoclave ovens to cook the agave piña (the heart of the agave plant). This elevates the final product's taste and quality.

  • The Juice

The modern industrialized process produces a tequila with limited natural agave flavor, while the traditional small-batch process slowly cooks the piña to create layers of rich natural agave flavors.

  • The Agave Taste

We discovered after many years of passionately tasting a wide variety of tequila that you can smell and taste the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of Artisanal Tequila.

Our Story

Our story started in 2011 when Tracy started dating Andres’ sister-in-law. The connection with the family was immediate, and our mutual passion for enjoying good tequila with others expanded.

Andres is a seasoned executive in the beverage industry. He successfully managed many brands throughout his career, including developing and growing a wide range of Mexican products in the United States, like Sauza Tequila, Kahlua, Tecate, Carta Blanca, and Bohemia. Andres also had the opportunity to lead Sauza Tequila and Kahlua’s marketing globally, relaunching Tres Generaciones and reshaping the brand’s packaging design.

A native Californian and passionate cyclist, Tracy grew up in Southern California with a Mexican stepfather. His connection and appreciation for tequila are deeply rooted in his heritage and love for Tequila. Tracy has solid sales and marketing experience working with lifestyle brands, including Cannondale bicycles. He is also very knowledgeable on the technical side of the tequila industry.

Their passion for tequila has intensified throughout the years. Both have held innumerable tasting sessions with friends, family, and events educating people on how to have an excellent tequila experience and erasing bad memories from trying low-end products during their college time.

For years they have been on a quest for great tequila, emphasizing the liquid quality over packaging.

Over the years, they have tried more than 150 different tequila brands and traveled to Mexico and the Tequila region multiple times. They are strong advocates of Artisanal Tequila and traditional production processes to create a better quality product. They believe that the United States market will fall in love with these products as they understand them better and become more available.
